5 x distance/pace groups all aiming to be approximately 2 hours long, finishing around 8am-8.15am.
All paces are a guide and we have included 5K race pace (RP) times to help seed yourself into a group - please note that all routes run on roads and trails and average paces are a rough guide of the whole route, including hills.
Group 1:
Start 5:55am - 28km Route @ approx. 4:30min-4:40min/km avg (sub-17:30 5k RP);
Group 2:
Start 6:00am - 25km @approx. 5:00min-5:15min/km avg (17:30-20:00 5k RP);
Group 3:
Start 6:05am - 21km @approx. 5:45-6:00min/km avg (20:00-22:30 5k RP);
Group 4:
Start 6:10am - 16km @ approx. 6:15min-6:30min/km avg, (22:30-25:00 5k RP);
Group 5:
Start 6:00am - 16km @ approx. 7:30min-7:45min/km avg (25:00+ 5k RP).
If you aren't looking to do as long as the above distances, each loop (except for group #2) has the option to cut off about 2.5-3km by running across Pemberton St to Monument and straight back to Frankies.
